Launch the game: a two-minute tutorial teaches you to tap on the beat and read your opponent's bubble. You can skip it any time with the button in the top right corner.

They are the three move types. Cold beats Chaos, Chaos beats Hot, Hot beats Cold. A move marked BEATS on its card beats what your opponent seems to be planning.

A note counts as missed if you tap too early or too late, or if you let go of a bar before the end. With too many missed notes, the move fails. If your taps are always off, calibrate the rhythm (see below).

Your character's ultimate move. It costs 50 Hype, which fills up with every move you land.

That's common with Bluetooth earbuds. Go to Profile, then "Calibrate rhythm": tap along with 16 ticks, the game measures your delay and corrects it automatically.

Check that your phone isn't on silent and that sound is turned on in Profile, then tap the screen once: browsers only start audio after a first touch.

On the home screen, tap "VS a friend". One player creates a room and shares the five-letter code, the other types it in and joins. The battle starts on its own.

Keep the screen on and the app open. After a short drop, the game reconnects by itself and picks up the current round.

Names are filtered automatically. During a game, the "Block" button ends the battle and stops that player from joining you again. You can also report them to [CONTACT ADDRESS].

On your phone, in the browser or app storage. There is no account: if you switch devices, your progress doesn't follow you for now.

In Profile, "Erase my progress", then confirm. Uninstalling the app also erases everything.

The iPhone app is coming soon to the App Store and an Android version is planned on Google Play. Until then, the full game is free to play in your browser.
